While catching the perfect set, Katelyn Ferrara—a dedicated surfer and licensed cosmetologist—had a revelation: there were no hair care products made for the unique needs of surfers, sun chasers, and beach lovers like her. She envisioned products that would protect and restore hair from constant exposure to salt, sun, and surf. She shared this idea with two friends, Molly Ferguson, an avid world traveler with a passion for surfing and community, and Melissa Anderson, a chemist with a love for the ocean.
